I have another hard drive that I want to put dell windows xp on it and use that since its never been use. I would tend to think

that since it hasnt been exposed to my overly fucked up pc that it would be ok.

I dont know how to put it on my hard drive.

And another thing that would probably be a bit more useful first.

My cd rom drive does not detect any type of disk ( I assume from my router trojan ) and I'm wondering if anyone knows how

to fix that.

I was thinking about restore to factory defaults since nothing I have on my PC is of any use or that I cant just put the cd in

for. But none of the start up keys ( F1 F2 e.t.c.) except F12 do anything and I think that its f10 taht I need to do taht im

fucked yet again.

My PC when it starts up says something to the extent of

Drive 1 SATA-1 is not Detected
F1 to continue , F2 to veiw setup.

I did F2 but I have no pc knoledge.

I googled the part about my cd rom drive not working and all the forums ive found on it are from people taht dont have

viruses and theres just went out and died or something.

Oh when I run a anti viruse program They all crash when they get to the same file. I deleted all my unuseable files such as

CoD and Cod4 and all my other games (may CoD1 rest in peice by the time i get going again the population will be 300 and the all rifles servers will have grenades or be awe or both :'( ) and now when they get to itThey go to the blue screen error.

Theres also a file on my My Computer folder called Tstamps I assume it stands for Tiem stamps and it tracks all my Uses of

programs. Iv'e deleted it a bunch of times and it keeps coming back.

My internet stopped working and I just plugged my internet cable strait from the wall into my PC and now Iget it lol

All this started when I got a trojan.

Well, I could use any input on all the subjects so please help me.

Please do not point out the obvious and tell me I need to buy a new pc because I dont have money for it. lol : ( wa wa waa

And kudos to you who ever sent me this trojan and ruined my pc...... very nicely done

if you boot your Pc with your windows cd in the drive there should load it and print Press F1 to install windows
if this isnt showing up - press Del or Esc or F2 while booting in order to get into your bios and change the boot sequence to cd as first

did you unplug one of your hdds?

And an hdds is? lol I have no idea about PC stuff.

I tried it and it doesnt see anything in the cd rom drive and says can not boot.

The cd rom drive will open but wont detect any type of disk so i cant reinstall windows. : (

Check to see if windows sees your CD Rom drive. If not, check the IDE cable to make sure it is properly plugged in to your CD drive. When did your drive stop working?

January. lol I just got time to deal with it.

Dont know if this means anything but theres a plug about 6 inches long coming out of my psu labeled p7 with a red 2 black

and a yellow cable on it. The end is white with 4 holes in the tip. Dont know what its for.

That's a power connector. If everything has power then it is of no relevance.

Yea I thaught so.

Before my cd rom drive had no power but it was just unplugged

I fixed my cd rom drive.

What had happened is i guess when i took my cd rom drive out and swapped it out and same with the hdd taht i plugged the sata cables into different sata connectors throwing off my start up.

I plugged my cd-rom into sata-1 and hdd into sata-0 and it all works out now.

Now i need to figure out how to wipe my hd clean can someone help me out on how to do it? I found my windows xp cd for my pc and have everything i need.

I'm not sure how others do it, I've always used Partition Magic.

Woot! I got my cd rom drive fixed.

The sata cable was plugged into wrong port.
i wiped my hard drive and reinstalled windows and got my internet up and going and now cod5 plays good cod4 plays good idk about cod1 but i got left for dead its pretty laggy tho.
