Re: Computer help
When you say re-installed cod, have you just got all the default files (no mods/custom maps, custom textures or any other custom files)? Have you tried playing another game with online servers to see if the problem persists there? Yeah it was a fresh install from the disc so the only mod I download...

Re: Computer help
Does the problem persist if you do it in your own server/a server without punkbuster/both? Nope it's perfectly fine on a devmap, this is how it should be online, fps is perfect and really smooth play no drops at all. It's just when I'm online. Try playing on an online server that has punkbuster dis...

Re: Computer help
Funny that you post this, this is was of the main reasons why I choose to reinstall my windows after getting my SSD. My FPS would drop to below 100 whilst I should be able to get atleast 700-800 FPS while moving around the map. It also came to the point where my screen would freeze for a second or ...

Computer help
Hey, well basically I have no clue what's going on... My FPS was perfectly fine a little while ago, but now it's really jumpy/jolty. Every second it drops from 250 to about 100 and this is constant, it does this every second all the way through the game. I've done a speedtest and it comes out as thi...

Re: Gaming setup help.

Ok my current powersupply is 300W, will upgrade this if need be. My case size (don't really know what units they're measured in but...) In cm, 45 x 35 x 18.. I'm sure you can figure out what measurement is what :| I also rang up pc world and they said that the cpu should handle the graphics card fine.

Re: Gaming setup help.
1. What is your current graphics card? 2. Also, I don't know where you're looking at the G15, but it shouldn't cost anywhere near £90. 3. The Sidewinder for the mouse is probably a better upgrade than the MX518, it has a lot more cool stuff. 4. Your CPU will probably somewhat bottleneck the perfor...

Re: Ping lag, HELP PLEASE ):

My ISP sometimes generates 169 ip addresses meaning i can't connect to the internet, happened just now. I played some cod4 offline and the ping lag worked perfectly fine. About 10 minutes l...

Re: Ping lag, HELP PLEASE ):
I used to have this issue also. The network i was connected through had disabled people from using any 'ping' function. You might have a similar problem. KillerSam, who would I have to talk to in order for this to work? Or if it's nothing to do with my ISP can you tell me what to change computer si...
