btw, i only run about 50fps (would a driver update fix that? i think i need one) would that effect it at all?

And i just can't get the hang of it :( I practiced for an hour and a half and I am getting no where. Do i need to be more patient than that? or should my strafe jumps be taking me further than normal jumps by now?
