What fps should I get with 4870 Ati 4gig 800mhz ram winxp

I read about guys gettin 333 fps wow.
I have duel core 3.1gig amd
4870 512mb ati graffics
4gig 800mhz ram
640gig WD hard drive with game installed on 500gig WD
Nothing over clocked.
With cod1,2,4 I used 125fps how come people are using 250fps??
Tips appreciated

I get about 900 FPS with my PC, but I use maxfps 125/250/333 (I have almost the same setup as you) but I use maxfps 333 in most cases.
With maxfps 250 you can jump further than 125 (most of of the time) and you also jump a little bit higher. With 333 you jump a lot higher than with 125 and 250.
I'm not 100% sure this is what you wanted to know

i got the same specs but the E8400 @ 3,6 ghz then
cod4 allways 250 stuck on nice config and cod5 i like 100 fps shit fps game but with promod or someting u might get much more

Everything on max settings on my own server with one extra player I was getting 100fps, How do people get 333fps, do they have a $1000 video card??
Even with min graffics I dont think my fps would reach that high, ill try later as ive reinstalled on a newer hard drive.
Running win XP to help get fps higher.
Duel core was said to be faster than quad as herz is 3.11gig and the low end quad 2.1gig herz and since cod5 doesnt use the extra 2 cores the duel was said to be faster.
Is this true???
