Weird error

Ok, I have a simple brush, and the map compiles fine.

If I move the vertices at the top left to the right a little, it still compiles fine.

but if I move the vertices at the top right to the left

http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image ... ge3qt7.jpg

it stops in the middle of compiling and I get this

http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image ... ge4bm7.jpg

if I press "ok" and "don't send", it still lets me compile and the brush looks fine in game, but does anyone know what the problem is?

You should never movwe vertices of brushes, vertice editing is for terrain and patches only. Use the "edge manipulation" toll (default key: e)

Kay, well I made an entirely new brush and used the edge manipulation tool and I still get the error, but if I make it a detail brush it works. Should oddly shaped brushes not be used for vis?

This is true. If you are still getting problems, use the clipper tools.

Also, make sure you are using "Snap to grid". Anything not snapped to the grid is potentially a compile error.

It wasn't a spelling mistake, it was a typographical error (typo).
