Nightmare mentioned at one time it was possible to assign ambient to specific parts of the map. I want to do this so I can have different ambient in specifically different parts of the map. Is this possible and if so how would i do it? I know you can just do sounds with a script_origin but i don't want a radial effect.

^^^ wtf?

I am pretty sure luke has the answer, because I recall on ultra_gap_training that when you got out of the secret room, the music stopped playing.

That was just a "playloopsound" that only starts when you're within a certain range of it.

Ambient sound is background noise. If you want certain areas to have sound, just do it the same way as always...

Available sound commands...
ambientplay
ambientstop
iswaitingonsound
musicplay
musicstop
playloopsound
playsound
playsoundasmaster
setsoundblend
soundexists
soundfade
stoploopsound

check the CoD2 documentation for help...

I know some of them don't work in MP. If those ones don't, theres another way of stopping and starting sound. Give it a go

Luckily i'm not the same God. And if you believe I am god of scripting, then you better hurry down to the local chapel and repent!
