Hey, im making a map, and i want to make a lazer... but the only problem is that the black around the lazer is showing, does any1 know how to make the black transparent?

if you want to make a laser all you have to do is create a cylinder and apply a red texture in it. No need for transparents

For a laser you can just do what soviet said and make a cylinder then put a hurt trigger around it to kill them. If you still would like to use transparent textures for a different purpose you will need to make an alpha layer to define what is transparent.
