4 questions?

Hi a little help please.
1) When i place an actor in my map (just for height measurments and that) i can only select it again by pressing L then selecting whats the prob?
2) How can i get the Glass texture? thats in dual (the bluey glowy one) its also in mansion. Well its in a few of nightmares maps.
3) How come when i want to place a model in radinat all i see is a red box?
4) When im in the middle of making a map, the side veiw (height one) i can't raise a brush instead the whole brush goes up or down. What could cause this?

ok well
1. I dont know
2. They are custom textures, talk to me on xfire I can make you one...
3. Because you need to go to View>Entities as>Skinned
4. Im not 100% sure on this but some times you just half to click WAY high above your brush

1. Not entirely sure. Is it visible before you press L or do you have to press L to make it visible? Some things disappear once you have created them because of filters which are set to hide certain objects - make sure you check your filters!
2. The glass texture I used in a few of my maps (and I believe is the same texture Nightmare used, although I could be wrong) is 'sfx/envwindow_night' - it is a stock texture so you won't need to include any texture files in your .pk3
3. Already answered, although I prefer to have it boxed and skinned - I find it makes it look nicer in Radiant and you can better position it.
4. Make sure you click far enough from it, other than that I don't know what could be causing it.

1) No once i deslect it i cant select it with shift and ctrl or shift click way and it just turns into a block.

EDIT:
1) Ok its nto a block now i edited filters, but i still cant select it.

There are 2 buttons on the tool bar on the far right that toggle allowing selection of models or all entities, they look like no smoking signs one with an E on it the other with an M, make sure they're both off then you should be good.

I recommend you to not bother using the "height" window and stick to using the Grid view and using either 'Front' or 'Side' view to move it.
