If I'm making a actor, light,spawns etc etc and I press Esc and I cant pick it up again or select it.
Please if you know the problem post here or answer on my xfire. xfire=patrick14

And have another question how do you make numbers on the gap?
So for example you are making a gap from 230 and how do you put 230 on the ground?
If you know the answer please post here!

you have to press shift+click to select something. If models are disappearing after you create them go to View>Show and make sure models is checked. As for the gap numbers, simply make them out of brushes

Well if I'm going to view>show models that is checked. But I want to delete something e.g light then I go to 3d view and if you want to delete something like that you must press Shift + Left mouse button but I cant select them. And that is for ligt, spawns, etc etc

is it that you can't see them, or just can't select them?

I'm not really an experienced mapper so I don't know if this would solve your problem, but did you try the Entity List?
Press L and look for what you want to delete.

I can see them but I cant select them, thats the point.

thats strange, i dont know what to tell you. The only thing i can possibly think of is you have some messed up invisible brushes going across the entire map so you are selecting those instead. Try trying to click on the light a lot, and every time you click press delete.
