Is there a way to "blind" the player? Like a flashbang in css, just something that makes your screen white and fades out.

perhaps with a hud? [white hud]

This would work, but then everyone would be given a gamma setting not to their liking (unless you run a a little complicated script to store all gamma settings)

What you need to do is use a HuD (as said above). Basically a HuD that fills the entire screen and is using the shader "white". Then you can use the "fade" commands. Check over at IWN, I am sure this has been done within the last week.

I just made something up myself, what I did was make a light which has a brightness of 100000000000000000000 which turns on at a given time. Hey, it works
