Bots in Multiplayer

Okay, not so much a bot that does objectives and stuff....but a character who sits on an MG and shoots at people that come into sight and is not controlled by a human. Would that be at all possible in MP?

in SP I know its possible, im pretty sure its not possible in MP tho

Its not exactly possible. It can be done I believe with a bit of scripting, but its not easy... A few people have been trying to work on more intelligent bots but havent got very far.
Basically, possible, (more than likely yes), easy, no.
