Hey,
Ive been havin a nice break from all the hasle of mapping, but now im back refreshed to make a new map.
I was wondering wat u lot would like to see in a map, hmmmm maybe: a stalingrad style map, harbor style map, or maybe just a standard jump map

well just ppost and tell me wat u guys wanna see in a new map,

im not makin any promisise that it will be made, but i need iades

Shifty.inc i remember that.. hmm from my msn? nah :S prob jump server. or these forums (lol <== dumbass) Nice to see your mapping again. So am i im making a new map now well 3 jm_hardstrafe (basicly finshed) jm_owned (started) jm_future (coming along nicely)

Wait for the CoD2 editor tbh, I doubt it will be too long.

What i like in jump maps.
Are basic jump maps which vary small jumps with big jumps (235-250 units)
the small jumps are nice for speed jumpin where you dont have to wait very long to make it.

Personally I like maps with something new. I dont like basic maps, they can be simple but not basic. Example..
Levellers first map (bitch?) was not very exciting, it just had a lot of hard jumps, where as levellers newer version (SoB) had a lot more to it, something different.

A jump map doesnt have to be just jumps, jump maps need to be fun tbh, maybe even a theme (skyscraper by matrix, railyard by leveller).

i agree but i like something new now and again. but basic maps i enjoy longer

like new things aswell BTW.
And try making them indoors (bitch, son-of-bitch, motion) this improves fps and makes it look more like it could be 'real'

yeah just make something Revolutionary. Dont copy other peoples ideas tbh, there are enough jump maps that are the same ish....
