Unselesctable models help me pls

right when i make a model like an airborne soldier when i place it down i cant pick it back up or select it
help me if you can thx :)my xfire is elitefly

Easy Solution...
double click on the toolbar (with all the buttons) to open it up, and so you can see all the buttons.
Look for both a "black E with a red no smorking like circle around it" and also a "white M with the same circle around it". Make sure both are not pressed

no i still cant select them
Edit:I had pressed the M with the circle round it i pressed that again and now can select thanks for help drofder
