Right, essentially i'm doing some research on different FPS it's effects on movement, i'm going to be going in HUGE detail, already done a lot, but now i need to find the max distance of each FPS value (there's 20 different ones i need to test)
Now, saulz has kindly gave me a server to use with mp_codjumper_training
(you can download it here:
www.codjumper.com/maps/index2.php?game=cod4&ID=7 )
Now, i can't accept everyone here, only GOOD jumpers, otherwise the results will be inaccurate.
You MUST be able to jump at LEAST 310 units with 125fps ofc
The FPS values that need testing are:
50fps
53fps
55fps
59fps
63fps
67fps
71fps
76fps
83fps
90fps
100fps
111fps
142fps
166fps
200fps
250fps
333fps
500fps
1000fps
Essentially, You add me on xfire and i will give you the server ip/pword, you use one of those FPS settings and find the maximum jump distance with it, then report it to me
My xfire: blazingtheory

Why do you need/want the distances for those specific FPS numbers? Most people can reach 125 FPS perfectly fine so it seems rather pointless to me.

And why start a whole new topic when you already started one before asking mainly the same thing

He wants to know which FPS is the best for general movement (ground strafing). Which we can already answer, 250 Fps. Good luck testing tough.

250 FPS also allows you to shoot slightly faster. Which is helpful, especially as SMG.

I find that hard to believe.

Sam says he's heard it before and believes it to be true, but is there actually any proof?

I agree with peds. Haven't seen or heard of any proof of this. I too find it very hard to be true.

Even if it does fire faster, how the hell do you check that ? It's not like we're talking about seconds here...
