CoD2 Light grid faster ?

I was wondering if there is a quicker way of making a light grid instead of the pacman way ?
I know in CoD4 it's different (easier) but is this also possible in CoD2.
Collecting all those frekin' dots in my Morpheus map is almost undo-able !

Btw, if you collect dots inside a structure (by using noclip) is that a problem, lighting wise I mean ?

/g_speed 500 (use ADS to move a little slower for doors/etc)

You can also use the lightgrid texture. For the majority of the open play areas.

Yep, I know you can crank up the speed, but that texture thing is what I want.
Unfortunately there is no lightgrid texture in CoD2 ... or am I missing something ?
Can I just copy the texture from world at war and use it that way....doubt that would work ?

There's no other way to collect the dots for the light grid other than the 'Pac Man' way in CoD2.
