Hej everybody,

I downloaden some maps from the website here. But when i load them in cod 2 (/devmap jm_contrast or another one) I get an error. "Couldnt load maps/mp/jm_contrast.d3dbsp. I doesnt matter which map i load, get it all the time.
But an map created as .iwd can i load perfectly.

Does anybody know what i am doing wrong?

Did you follow the instructions at the bottom of the download page?
» Map Instructions:
1. Click on a map name to download the .iwd file.
2. Place the .iwd file in your 'Call of Duty 2\main' directory.
3. Load CoD2MP, click Start New Server, select the map, start game.
4. Alternatively, load CoD2MP, open console, type '/map mapname' (where mapname is the name of the map, e.g. mp_jump)
The file you download from the site is an .iwd file, so don't unzip it, simply place it in the main directory.

The file I download is an .zip file. When i place this in the main folder cod 2 doesnt seem to find the map.
But when i change .zip to .iwd he does find it but cant load the map.

When you download the file, save it as an iwd file, not a zip file. While it may appear as a zip file, it's actually an iwd file (a type of zip file), so you have to make sure your PC saves it as iwd and not zip.

I downloaded them again, and saved as a .iwd file. When i load them in cod 2 the loadingscreen is a picture of the map that i want. But it doesnt load, i can wait 10 minutes but it doesnt load. (my pc usually takes 15 secs or less to load a map)
