Got a new mod installed but ranking not working correctly any ideas ?? always goes to unknown anyone else had this problem or is at usual something im doing

It takes quite a while to rank up in the mod. I've also noticed a lot of periodic stat 'freezes' for people using the mod where their rank gets reset and won't progress until they delete their stats file. Unfortunately there is no known solution to this, so the system is slightly bugged.
