This is a tutorial on how to jump exactly same far as the strafe jump but without strafing. This is old, some of you might know it, but some might not, but there wasnt ever video about this,this tutorial will teach you how to do it.

this jump technique also works in cod2... it is more commonly known as 'mousing only'

im not into cod4 jumping, but im sure it should work with 125 and 250 fps aswell

Technically speaking it is just a normal jump combined with flick jumping.
It has no real use as the exact same can be accomplished in less area using the strafe keys and with better results.

Well with this jumping way you can do a 316 gap easier than using the strafe jump but yea this is a normal jump with some flicked camera trick that's why it's cool. Anyway, theres a even better jump technique than this, this time its strafe, gets u even further and further than the strafe jump, a bit different one ,its found by dan this time, I'll show it to you later. I decided to make a tutorial for this first because this is no strafe so its something else for a change.

Anyway, I made few mistakes, so I just updated the video, and I changed the name of this jump, named it, W-Hop(thanks at ben for idea).

in a old cod part did someone such a jump too ... he/she used a 180 degree jump in gap ... i dunno who it was and if it was the same technique ...

the W is obviously based on the fact no strafe keys are used, only the W key.

it just takes more area to do it. As you cant jump further i don't see the point.

It doesn't take much more area, you can run less and still turn to jump. It is W-hop because you only hold forward and the forward key is W. The point of this is, with this you can jump almost as far as with the normal strafe or as far, the proof of that is the video, that's a 300 unit gap which is very long. My best strafe record using normal 125 strafe technique is 314 where the best record is 316, using this W-hop I am able to do 312 at least, still very long for no-strafing technique.

I doubt that you were using this, I never seen anyone use it , only me and dan and inifnite and only when we mess around.
