When going 333-250-333, do you jump with 333, and then use 250 whilst going through the air, then switch to 333 again as you hit bounce?

I've never really understood the 3 step fps switches.

I think (I might be wrong) that 333 used at the start allows you to jump higher, but as soon as you reach the peak of the jump you switch to 250 to do a nice strafe. 333 at the end is used to get higher again.

Yeh that pole has been jumped to before. But I think it was with RPG or on a different bounce object.

333 - 250 -333
Height + Speed/Distance + Height

Start with 333, jump and change to 250 to get the distance and before hitting bounce change to 333 for a few units of extra bounce height.
