Ok you need a demo then do /cl_avidemo 30. This will produce 30 images per second. So google for a tool that can join those images to one video file. You need to set in the program your number u set in the cl_avidemo command. If you want to make some ultra hyper uber awesome editing I would suggest to use a higher number, but for basic editing 30 is enough.
If you have more questions just search the forums. There are plenty topics about that.

but spawn, some people use avi demo 100 - 200. When i used it, i tryed 200 and it came out pretty cool, it works better for some people more than others, like me, when i try to use it it is just to laggy, i was speaking to atze and he was telling me it runs at just like half the speed a normal gameplay. So if u have is xf i would ask him.
Make sure to check this link......

hoogie belive me, its a long, time consuming thing that isnt that greatly appriachated, if i were u i would stick to fraps. I have noticed (with myfraps vs avi test) the mojority of people actualy prefured my fraps to avi

. If u were doing say i shorter clip (like 30 secs long) then maybe avi, hat would still take me about 1 hour to record lol...
