would be hard to beat, i might try it again sometime, but atm i'm working on a certain 5* map

I would say it is allowed.
Anything that requires a jumping skill should be allowed (in this case a ladder jump).

Pretty much thought the same thing... but wanted to be sure.
Its a pretty precies ladderjump too, be a fraction too late and you wont make it.

Why should zaitsev be the one to deside?
I think it should be what the most players think of it, or someone that doesnt do records himselve and has a neutral oppinion (not saying zaitsev has not) like pedsdude.

Id say that if a shortcut is not blocked by a mapmaker then its allowed cuz the mapmaker haven tested it enough...
peeps just throw maps. without teting or nething

i agree, thought the same for awhile, since he almost dicarded 1 of my demos rofl.. but he does get the job done and times all the demos well..but maybe it shouldnt be up to him to make the rules, like u say...there are some great maps that have silly shortcuts, like jm_woop for example, u can take a huge shortcut on that which is just lame, so we have to make some rules

Lol, if every shortcut is allowed... I should be abled to finish hornet in 15 sec.
So i think there need to be set rules too. I like dorfder's statement.
