How can you check what graphics card I have ? I'm a noob on that area. Although I have seen it before somehow but I can't remember.

Start > Run > dxdiag > Click on 'Display' tab

On the desktop. Rechtermuisknop/eigenschappen/tabbland van instellingen, daar staat het onder n plaatje van n monitor en boven de resolutie instellingen.

I'm not even gonna bother downloading it to find out I have 2 fps ;/ I could get 125 on cod2 mp but on 30 max on the sp... need monies for upgrading

In order to play CoD4. Do I need to upgrade ? And how much would it cost roughly ?

depends if the rest of ur system is up to date or not

if u need a new cod4 pc il tink it will cost 750 euro rougly

for 710 euro u can make a pc with e6750, 8800 GTS 2048mb ram
with a cheap case than xD

It does not. He simply cant play the game, no shader model 2.0 (dx9 graphics card), no cod4.

About upgrade costs.. I think you can buy a gfx card thatll run the game for 50 euro. And assuming u have 512mb ram, you would need an extra stick of 512 ram which costs 30 euro or something. But this is not smart to do because u can barely play the game like that and u would probably need an upgrade again the next time u buy a game, its better to buy a new system like louw said or something, even a slower system then he mentioned would do the trick easily.

Need to have a chat with my father then, see if he knows a solution. Afterall, it's much easier to discuss this with my father then on the forums

WRONG! My Graphic card is a 9600xt, not supported, and it runs quite ok. Everything on normal and 2x AA and it runs with a average of 50FPS.
