You want to get into semantics? At the time of Operation Overlord 2/3s of all of Germany's battalions were positioned on the Eastern front, leaving mostly skeleton forces defending in the west. Additionally, the combined forces of America and Britain pushed more than a hundred miles less into German lines than the Russians did in the same amount of time, only actually arriving at Berlin long after Russia had taken it.

Also, it's probably worth noting that the only beach to have any strong resistance was Omaha, a beach assaulted by only American soldiers. In fact, Gold and Sword beach, the two British beaches, had almost no resistance and therefore almost no casualties. The only beach where the British even encountered notable resistance was Juno beach, which was predominantly made up of Canadian soldiers. Ignoring the beaches, the majority of the parachute drops throughout Europe on D-Day were American soldiers, which through guerrilla tactics were able to pave the way for the advancement of the British and Americans later on. Even discounting that, one must look no further than the economic support provided by the United States to see that your arguments concerning the British supplying all the vehicles to being completely irrelevant. In fact, America was pumping out more tanks, jeeps, planes, along with sending thousands of tons of raw materials to Britain long before they entered the war. Without America's economic aide Britain could have fallen well before D-Day. Stop getting your history education from shitty public school textbooks.

I don't support the United States, we're pretty stupid. However, that doesn't mean the rest of the world is any smarter and it's not hard to realize that they are just as stupid. By the way, thanks for telling us to clean up our pollution and look for alternative fuel sources. Oh, and how is the largest environmental disaster ever inflicted upon the Earth going for you guys? I was using irony and sarcasm there to point out the UK's hypocrisy in case you were wondering.

Well, if America wasn't attacked by Japan then the Americans might've never helped on D-Day. Maybe it would've taken such a long time that Germany kept on bombing Britain (London) and had to succumb to Germany eventually. But even then, I'm pretty sure that the Russians would beat Germany. Then the world would be Russian, American with Africa and Australia

Also, you're forgetting the Polish and Canadians who also played a huge role. And there were loads of pilots and ships from many different countries.

UK needed USA's help (as well as many other nations) but USA need to seriously realise, you were NOT the key force in WW2 and you certainly did not SAVE us. If Germany were to have ruled UK and Russia, your arses would've been next.
