To be honest, in the past I wouldn't have spent so much on a watch, but I decided that it would definately be a very nice thing to have, and it will serve me well in the future.

If i had it on my wrist, i'd take it off immediately and either pawn or ebay it. Then buy something worthy of being paid for.
