Indeed, but in the case of (as I was also thinking) Die Hard, they used a decimal for absolutely no reason, infact the most accurate use for that film would be simply "4" as the previous films did not use decimals.KillerSam wrote:Decimal places arent always pointless just because they are 0's

4.00 suggests I have measured to within a 100th of a unit. so I know its not 4.02, 4 suggests it could be anything half an incriment either side (3.5 - 4.5)

Oh, and just to be a smart arse to reply to your smart arseness (yes, its a word), 4 can be equal to 3.5 or 4.4 to the nearest tenth
