Unlucky for netherlands. That Russian ref had one tough match on his hands in my opinion considering all the "roughhousing" from both teams. I think he did a good job. (well as good a job as the players did faking bad injuries)

In holland they speak of an outrages match. No nice play from dutch side etc.
But i loved it. Those matches are a joy to watch

I lost a bet of 5 quid for France, Spain and Korea to win, but today I won 7.50 on a 15 quid bet for italy to win. My god it was close, they scored in the 94th minute

(hence my italian patriotic screen name - i'm not italian by the way

My next bet is probably going to be a double on Brazil and Spain to win (possibly 10 pounds, might not want to risk it with Spain vs France though).

Nah, was a good match i thought. Being that we americans here dont get to watch much football on the telly, it was real exciting to see a match come down to penalty kicks.

Italy should have never gotten that penalty.

(not worldcup but also against Italy)
Juventus should have never won champions league in 1996, cuz they used forbidden goods to play better.
AC Milan should have never beaten P.S.V. in champions league semi final of 2005, cuz milan was allowed to choose the referee for their own matches ffs.

Fifa and uefa are corrupt as hell..

Not just that single match but in gerenal...

A lot of the biggest teams in Italy (as AiCaramba listed above) are under investigation for match fixing and referee bribing. The entire Italian Football League is as corrupt as it can be.

And lets look back at the elbow to McBride.

The countless attempts at diving, and several other world cups before it.

I'm sorry if this offends any Italian, but imo, they are a disgrace to football.

Neither Italy or Australia deserved to win that match ... the both "cheated", and both of the countries just suck generally
