Oblivion is using that cool system (I believe it's called ragdoll as mentioned earlier) like when you kill an enemy it won't have a standard death position. But it falls of a cliff if it's dead on the edge and the body rolls of a hill if being killed, unlike CoD...

Thats what the source engine does zaitsev, the source engine has the best physics I have seen as well as graphics. The source engine has ragdoll physics as well as object and model physics.
