1 guess as to why the goalie stood there and watched it go in in the 2nd video...Infinite wrote:goalie literally stood there and watched it go in in the 2nd video, and the first was nice, but you'll just use your American prejudice to nullify those statements. I am not a sports person and I probably never will be, but I know how most sports work, and I know the difference between American and European soccer/football (not American "football") which is mainly that European football allows more rough play than American. From my standpoint of a person who doesn't like sports, the 2 goals that you posted were nice, but the other one was too.

I suggest you take another look at the video and see how quickly the ball is kicked, on top of the fact that you would not expect a player to shoot from such an awkward positionInfinite wrote:He was a dumbass. <-- no question mark

Re: Goal of the year! :o
unless he was a cool guy. That shot actually reminds me of when I was 5 and played soccer (for only 1 season) and I remember once a guy kicked it out of bounds and when the guy threw it back in, I hit it with my head and got a goal with it. The awesome part was that the ball was being aimed about 10 yards behind me, and he threw it in a straight line over my head, so it was going pretty fast :s. Wish I could find the video tape that my dad took :<.Pedsdude wrote:I suggest you take another look at the video and see how quickly the ball is kicked, on top of the fact that you would not expect a player to shoot from such an awkward positionInfinite wrote:He was a dumbass. <-- no question mark

Since I didn't travel to Europe just to play football, no, I mean soccer since it was in America.Pedsdude wrote:You mean football?Infinite wrote:That shot actually reminds me of when I was 5 and played soccer
and for lulz, look at the first definition of football http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=football

lolOnly Americans call it 'soccer' owing to their vast ignorance of what goes on outside their national boundaries and the misnomer which has them thinking than a corruption of rugby, with all the danger and most of the skill removed can also be called 'football'.
