Pretty funny - you forgot that one lol
Didnt for get it, and listing movies on a site is not ILLEGAL, it illegal if you have the movies on your server, the site dont have moviesfiles on the server as the hosting provider dont want them there, but he's ok with links...
It illegal to do the following.

1: HOSTing movie that you can download from a server. Note above i dont host them, They are only listed
2: listing movies is for information use only, what people do with movies they download is down to them, not to me.
3: Public domain movies are also avalible on the site which you can Legaly download at any time as they are in the Public domain, they are only listed, not hosted.
4: Unless a site host movies/Games/Ect on ther webspace, then they breaking laws, listing them is not breaking any laws it just passing information on, look how many sites there are on the internet now do a google search. Results 1 - 10 of about 521,000 for warez sites Results 1 - 10 of about 1,480,000 for movie forum sites

The Site is not breaking any laws that i know of,as long it dont host the files.

END.?

Just because a lot of people do it does not make it legal.

Even if you are not hosting the files yourself, providing links for them IS illegal.

Anyway who cares, hope you starting jumping again soon!

What he said is true. The reason Google isn't illegal is because it is simply a search result, the link is not embedded into the core of the site, plus, Google is against illegal activity and I'm sure it says somewhere in their terms of use or whatever that they will deal with stuff like that. It is similar to illegal material on Youtube. As long as the owner opposes it and stuff it's all cool.

I honestly find it completely stupid and illogical, but that's the way it is.

Ahgggg so you PIRATE, ow im telling on you....lol joking....

The google bit was just to show you how many sites on the world wide Web has peoples websites with warez/movies ect listed on google, i was not saying google list or hosts pirated stuff, tho they i think did have problems with listing pirate content befor, same with youtube a while back..

Piracy will never stop, how ever they try and deal with it.. If i cant get a Pay-Per-View like i said im a subscriber to befor, then i may go the other way and download a movie for the nite from a movie site like erm mine... :? then remove it from my drive after as it takes up disk space.

OK Question.
Movies for mobiles you can get these on devices already, as like a Promo thing added to you package deal when buying a mobile device, you can also buy these already on Disks or as Downloads., for PSP/PDA,
Main question is if you have it already on your Device or even Mobile Phones if you ripp it from your device and share it with someone else is that Piracy? as your are the owner of that content if already on the device when brought.??

Im also currnetly converting some of my LEGALY OWNED movies to Mobile content to put on my Sony Ericsson W910i, am i breaking any laws there.?? i own the original, or paid for the original. ok go on say yea it illegal..lol i dont care..

Who has'nt never downloaded a non paid item from the web.?? come on be honest, i bet ya all have, and dont lie about it..hahaa.....

yea true, they be after the true Piraters that make mass copies like 100,000s ect like of each movie, game, ect,ect they the ones they should go after not silly little small frie which download a movie once in a while.. ok i cant comdom piracy i know it is wrong, but if publishers kepted prices down people wouldnt pirate.

£30 for a game, £15-£25 for a movie, A ticket to the cinimar is like £10 now DVD rentals are like £4 per nite
If they put prices way down to say like £5 per game £3-£5 per movie there wouldnt be as much piratcy, I DID Say not so much, as it will still keep happing if people cant afford even £3-£5.

Only way to stop it is to encrypt /encode them maybe make movies only viewable 2-3 times once brought on DVD, but then should only charge a very small fee for the DVD, like £2 or $4 per movie ,or do more Pay-Per-View sites and charge like 50pence ($0.25) per movie and only watcherble 1 time for 24 hours like im a member of..... lucky i watch my movie i buy on PPV within the first couple of hours, then remove it, coz it not worth having it on the PC-HD if ya cant view it again after 24 hours..

Converting/copying them to your own phone is legal. It's not legal to send the files to someone, even if you bought it you don't own copyright to it.

I know I've done my fair share of pirating teh interwebz. Who hasn't? I know plenty of parents who pirate and plenty of parents that are fully aware of their children pirating. It's not really that much of a big deal for me, you guys are all arguing, but mostly for the sake of arguing. Following every law the government created would be horrible. Laws against piracy are just a couple that i choose not to obey, and luckily for me, these laws are almost impossible to enforce.

Now back to the original topic, see ya later Steve! You might consider putting some of those PC parts (that you find in that room) up for sale on the internet, I might be interested. (I'm planning on building a PC and am looking for good deals) Other than that, hope you come back to jumping soon.
