He says a number of words (albeit not too frequently) including shit (only said this twice, ages ago!), Shearer, Philip, (other members of family's names), England, good boy, hello, peds, hi peds.
The best thing is that he usually says "hello" when the phone rings

Depends what you mean by teach. It doesn't learn the language, only the words. I read somewhere once that they taught a chimp to speak.
