Yeah I like Melodic Death metal quite alot, but its boring to see live imo. Going mental at a Dillinger gig or Job for a cowboy is much more fun

There's different kind of 'screaming'.

An example is that the singer of Arch Enemy (It's actually a female singer, you gotta check this out!) I do understand, I can follow most of the lyrics while I have issues sometimes with understanding let's say Sonic Syndicate.

Sonic Syndicate is probably one of the best new bands I've recently heared tbh. They've won tons of awards and they only have 2 albums so far.

I've never heard arch enemy before, I couldn't tell what she was saying. If you know the lyrics already, you can get what they're saying then and not just because you know the lyrics. I anyone understands that <-- Like having looked at the lyrics for ravenous, its obvious she's saying "I am hunting for your soul" etc. The screamer from Dillinger does slur his words more, but if i said the first lines to my video were "what rounding out, breaks. The silent barrier, waits..." you could get that.

I can't believe how well the woman in Arch Enemy can scream. She's definitely not all woman.

I sometimes need to listen to the song a couple of times and I understand it more and more each time. And some songs I don't really understand it either.
