Usually that is the case, as said, active members get the delight of deleting a few porn links and a couple pharmaceutical links a day, but when things such as those described start appearing, we should start getting a little more protective.

Well.. installing an SMF forum would be a start.

phpBB sucks.

Or install an Image-Verification mod into phpBB2, so that to register you must match what's on the image. (text / digits)

Unless ofcourse you just let them so you have more members.
