Good luck on university mate, what are you going to study?

Anyway, I'm here now and in my room. London is cool, although it has its bad aspects (as all main cities do!). Went to Arsenal vs Newcastle last night, which was great - took me 2 hours to get back after because the tube was so busy!

Caught him on MSN, he told me he can hardly remember anything but he did wake up with a bunch of small curved yellow fruit and some form of cream...Neon wrote:How was freshers week Peds?
... I believe he was watching re-runs of Wimbledon and they ran out of strawberries, either that or the Londoners made short work of the northern monkey.

1 of the many reasons not to drink. Passing out may seem funny at the time, but the photos prove otherwise.Neon wrote:Lmfao. A house party I was at, someone passed out and had a banana put up their ass ;/ the best of times lol

Freshers' Week has only really just started. We have our own bar at this accommodation, so Sunday night was just socialising at the bar, Monday night I was at a nightclub called Sway (which was absolutely packed, but great nonetheless) and last night I was at the LSE student union bar for 'The Bang', which was basically the opening night of Freshers' Week for LSE. The event tonight was 'Skinny Jeans', which doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, so I've opted not to go out tonight (as many others have). Tomorrow there's a Rock 'n' Roll night, which I'm contemplating, but yet again, it's not my scene. Our last event is on 12th October, so it's really a Freshers' Fortnight rather than a week!

My accommodation is great. Reasonable sized room, modern furnishings, GREAT location (google map).
It's got its own bar, arcade room, TV room and restaurant (for breakfast and dinner), and I'm on the ground floor so don't have to walk far when I come in!
