Ah yes that are the 2 things but I cant see them, I can only see the green 'E' and further nothing.

Very odd, well, the only thing I can think of is re installing your codraidiant.

I did that but it didn't work. I see a lot of buttons in Cod radiant from the 'open' folder to the green 'E'.
In your screenshot you can see the other buttons and I don't have that.

Never mind I solved my problem.

i have that same problem. i have to use entitys "L" and select the item iwant such as lights, models, vehichles etc.

well if you don't see the Black E with a red no smorking like circle around it¨and also a ¨white M with the same circle around it¨ you must do it like another way and that is what I did.

You must click on your left mouse and hold it

then drag you the toolbar (hold left mouse) somewhere on your screen, a little bit to the left.

Then release and you will see the other buttons. Just click twice at the top of that toolbar and the toolbar is back in his original place.

Yes, its called undocking a toolbar. Which I think drofder hinted at when saying to double click, which also works.
