Maybe the other (senseless or false) facts should distract or irritate. So x = 3 and 3^4 is 81. Sometimes the easiest answer is the right even if it should be difficult, give it a try.

My 3 guesses for the first one:

1867
1957
3423

probably not even close. I suck at these.

DJKanne, nowhere is that truer than in the puzzles on this website. However, that's not the case for this puzzle. I don't know if I should spoil the answer, and I don't see a spoiler tag in the styles options. If you want the answer, say so and I'll PM you, unless nobody cares if I post it publicly.

I always wondered who the kids were that did things like that.
If you knew my teacher, you would have a completely different opinion (assuming you're accusing me of being some kind of suck-up/teachers pet). He's the kind of person I'd likely hang out with outside of school, and he's probably young enough. He just got his PhD at MIT, so he's a pretty brilliant guy as well. To give you an idea of what his personality is like, he told us two days ago that he was excited to announce that he recently discovered the minor planet named after him (26267) is a prime number. That might not sound too interesting, but theres more. He then told us that he got so caught up in prime numbers that he decided to try and have discussions with people on chat roulette about them. Also, when we asked him how many dicks he saw he replied, there were several people doing inappropriate things, I lost count after 27.
Drofder2004 wrote:you mention the fact "they line up", but are we sure that has anything to do with it?

Maybe we are just looking at 3 series of numbers?
It could very well just be 3 series of numbers but I thought I'd include the fact that they line up; but many of the previous puzzles required more than simply figuring out the pattern.
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P

Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)

Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

I know this is a double post, but I'm addressing completely different questions with this post, so I thought It'd be alright :P

To answer this question, I'm gunna have to explain this site (breakthegame.se) a little more. There are multiple puzzles arranged in a pyramid. Once you complete the puzzles in the first row of the pyramid, you unlock the second row. Also, the puzzles are short video clips that can contain the title of the puzzle and different clues. This puzzle's title is "Parenthesis" and the only thing given other than those numbers is the text "Replace the question marks with numbers". Actually, now that I went back to read that clue again, it actually reads "Replace the questionsmarks with numbers" (instead of question marks it says questionsmarks) and since I haven't noticed any spelling errors in the previous puzzles, this may mean something. I'll have to look into that. By the way, I highly doubt the actual video has to be decrypted in any way ie stegonometry (which is why i didnt really explain before how the puzzles were given to you, i didnt want people thinking you had to decrypt any audio or video). Regardless, I could provide you with the video by ripping it from the site and uploading it here, but I can't link it.

Nope, none of them are right. I'd like to know how you got those numbers (if they werent just guesses) because I want to rule out everything I've already tried. I've spent so much time solving the puzzles on this site  I literally have 5 or 6 notebook pages covered in notes from different puzzles.

EDIT: I've attached screen shots of the video. The only thing other than these three things are empty black space or transitions.

Have all the last number puzzles been maths related?

I am failing to see a pattern in the numbers. I also doubt that "questionsmarks" is relevant.

There aere 10000 potential variations but there are millions of potential ways to get a solution.

I hate sites like this, this is not logic and prlblem solving but stumbling upon the correct guess.

I got the answer btw, it's EXTREMELY easy. Has nothing to do with anything but the numbers.

Should i post it here? I don't want to ruin it for anybody figuring it out for themselves.

Also, I haven't really looked at the next two that hard, but I'll post them here later today if you want to try them out.

Happy for you to post tbh, I like puzzles where I know what the puzzle is actually about...
