Sure, I'm looking forward to MW2. But that gleeful apprehension is mixed with an incredibly strong dose of utter disgust at what the series has become.

Well that's a bit extreme. I don't like the console favourism either but I still had a blast playing all their games. Apart of CoD5 ofcourse.

Precisely, the games are still fun to play in a way, but every aspect of the game from appearance to gameplay to features in utterly soaked in console style design (ie: Halo style design).
