Last night I had 2 of those cunts on Firing Range only knifing people. I still kicked their asses but that gameplay is so fucking retarded it's not even funny. They had negative K/D ratio.

Anyway, I had an incredible round not so long ago. It was Domination and not a lot of really good players but it's still impressive nonetheless :P Atleast I find it so:

Also I got killed in killcam by a smoke grenade impact. Trying to find it again on my Theater list but no luck so far. That guy just threw a smoke grenade out of the window and it hit me and killed me, it looked epic like hell and I've never seen such an innocent kill yet :P

95% of the time I only use my shotgun, the ballistics knives that you can fire, and the tomahawk. I only go around stabbing people if I have no ammo :S.

Getting a little bit tired of getting banned from servers though :P Can't kick ass without being banned from servers. I've been banned from getting Gunships in servers atleast 6 times already, lol.

Stop being a pussy and use something other than gunships. Even when I get them through care packages, I feel guilty using them... why they would introduce something so over powered into the game is beyond me...

They're not overpowered. They're only overpowered if you have dumbasses on your team.

My Gunship was brought down after I only made 4 kills. If you have 3 or 4 people with Anti-Air then it's np. I for one don't understand why you need a secondary gun anyway since I always run around with rocket launchers.

They are overpowered on the retarded tiny maps though. I once flew out of the map on Nuketown because nobody even tried to take it down (Pretty much impossible :P).

Not everyone wants to play like you, I for one enjoy using different weapons, both primary and secondaries. Why should I have to carry a AA gun just because of these moronic ideas for killstreaks.

They are overpowered.
Just dedicate one class to having the 3rd rocket launcher (the one with 2 rockets at a time). You by no means have to use that class the whole match, but as soon as a gunship comes you can switch to that class, and then if/when it kills you take it down. It only takes about 2 seconds to aim, lock-on and fire at the gunship (and if your on a team with some other clever people, they should also have one class with an AA launcher), which is normally ample time. Simple.

See there we have it. If you don't want to carry AA weapons you can do either of 3 things:

- Get blown up
- Wait for others to blow it up (And like I said, there's a bunch of fools out there not having AA)
- Like stated above, either start carrying AA or dedicate a class to it

It's simple. So easy to take it down. But like I said, it's hard to take it down if there's nobody with AA :P


There's only a few maps where it's so hard to take it down and that's Firing Range and Nuketown, the rest is perfectly fine.

The fact that you agree that its hard to take it down on two maps, is in my opinion a definition in its self of "overpowered". The game should make it easy to take down, considering the helicopters can rack up 3/4 kills within the first two seconds it is called in...

The fact remains, these are the sorta killstreaks that should've been taken out of the game. They balance the game by removing the juggernaught and stopping power, yet they allow for instakill choppers with big red square sensors on them that require zero aiming ability and become spawn killing monsters.

OH well, no point complaining, they wont remove it and the people who love huge K:D ratios will continue to orgasm over their ability to get 5:1 ratios using choppers...

*old person voice* Back in my day we had to go 100/20 on Carentan with a Kar98 and no killstreaks...

90% of the time when I pull out my chopper gunner, it gets shot down within 4 kills. Tbh it's better to get dogs or rolling thunder. At least you can't shoot them down and you are basically guaranteed kills. Recently I did have a game though where I went from 13-1 to 35-1 from a chopper gunner, and got 4 more kills before the round ended :P. Most of the time, if a chopper gunner isn't shot down then the team who's getting raped by it deserves it because they don't know how to pull out a strela to easily take it down. Whenever I see a chopper gunner/gunship come out on the enemies' side, I laugh since it's free points for me when I easily shoot it down. I don't understand why people think it's so overpowered. If I can easily solo kill it, then having 2-3 people of average intelligence attempting to shoot it down should bring it down within a few seconds.

Another note is that when you go into a chopper gunner/gunship, you wait there for a good 5 seconds before you can actually shoot, giving the other team time to pull out their AA. I believe that Treyarch did a great job with killstreaks in BLOPS, even though I personally prefer no killstreaks at all.

Well I sure as hell won't miss them if they would be out of the game though. But I don't care about my K/D ratio even though it's nice. But I rather have a very high score so the XP flows in, and you gain the most XP by blowing things up, killing people and doing objectives.

All killstreaks you can counter (Although not as good as in MW2, you had a perk in MW2 which removes the red box). It's really a lot harder to take the helicopters down. But most maps also have a lot of cover.

Anyway, the AC130 was even more awesome though :) You needed 3 AA rockets to bring it down. We always competed with eachother who could get the finishing kill (Back in MW2 we used to play together with 3 or 4 people).

The Chopper Gunner can be taken down without him firing a shot (I had it happen ocne on Summit :P). People actually had brains during a round. But you can already shoot with the Gunship the second you spawn.

Pro Ability: Undetectable by aircraft, infrared and sentries. Enemies won't see your name or a red crosshair when targeting you.
