Re: Anything?
My bro bought a PS3 copy (welcome to peer pressure sells).
I played it for a few hours on SP and MP.
SP: What the fuck is going on....? The storyline was batshit stupid.
MP: Not only does it sound like nerf guns, the bullets hurt the same amount. A kill took between half and a full mag from an Assault rifle (didn't get a single headshot insta-kill from across map, even when slowly aiming at a AFK'er using a stock assault rifle ). The game uses (at least on console) aim-assist logic even in MP, your gun will slightly track players when they come into your crosshairs. The maps are (as always) full of routes and lacking in choke points. Practically unlimited UAV = red-dot hunting.
The only good thing I can say is the new "custom loadout" system is pretty nice - it uses what I would call a "weight based" system, where each perk, gun, attachment, etc will cost a point, and you have 10 points to spend.
This game is Black Ops 2.0 - it is nothing more than a UI adjustment and some maps.

Re: Anything?
Yes, would love to see this system introduced into more customisable loadout style games. The BO2 options are very 'basic' where everything is '1 point' - would be great with a more in depth approach. would lead to much more varied gameplay (As long as they kept reworking the balance)KillerSam wrote:That's awesome. I wish they did something like this with BF3. It'd be good to have say 100 points and have things such as "heat seaker missiles" costing 30 points, then something like "extra round in your magazine" costing 2 points. This would then mean that finally everybody wouldn't be running around with the same gear. You might stumble across somebody who has spent their 100 points and gotten themselves something like 80% more health / armour, but with a stock weaponDrofder2004 wrote:The only good thing I can say is the new "custom loadout" system is pretty nice - it uses what I would call a "weight based" system, where each perk, gun, attachment, etc will cost a point, and you have 10 points to spend.

Re: Anything?
not a Battlefield and not a CoD: Medal of Honor Warfighter
did somebody try it ?
I found it funny. much harder as CoD and not so big maps like Battlefield and no vehicles/planes/helis
PS: Bought BO2 too, will start playing it when i reached Level 100 in MoH-W (35 remaining)

Re: Anything?
Nobody in my Steam list bought it so far. I haven't even touched MW3.

Re: Anything?
its not worth the money, maybe if you like single player but the multiplayer is more of the same
jumps arent there everything is blocked.
think cod4 was the last good jumping game for codjumper.com after that is steam + no dedicated server crap
not even a console on black ops

Re: Anything?
I'm gonna buy it and check what we can found about jumps in SP or MP, we said the same thing with MW3 and, even if the game sucks, we found some nice jumps, for example Xpayne's videos!
Gamers will always find glitchs. Even if today, the glitch are harder to find and less "beautiful".

Re: Anything?
I heard theres no server browser this time but a matchmaking system with a server back end. How can you make out if you land on a dedicated server or in a p2p match?

Gotta work on SP as usually
