Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I know. I started to see it in Breakout. So much detail. But on maps nowadays, there's so much crazy places to cover behind.
The simple maps like Brecourt, Harbor, Carentan and Rocket were the best. Small maps, not lots of places to camp. It all came down to skill, who's working the best as a team and who has the best shooters.
CoD2 had a few maps like that aswell. Toujane, Beltot and Matmata.
But most maps nowadays (Most noteworthy CoD5) have shitloads of camp places. MW2 mapped a lot better, I wished some maps were in CoD4 (Afghan or Terminal) simply because they're medium sized, but not a lot of routes to take (Around 3 or 4 routes). Ofcourse I'm talking about S&D.
I personally never really liked maps like Depot, Tigertown, Breakout and Leningrad.
Ofcourse it all comes down to personal preference. But I for one really love the very simple maps. Screw eyecandy, you need to be able to have a decent game without looking at every meter of osbstacles.

Yeah, I knew you made it, but I wasn't sure whether you made it for CoD2 or CoD4. I was thinking CoD2, that's why I was confused.

Not my favourite though, but I loved jumping off the big roof to the ground with 0 damage (Sloped piece of rubble). Many people were like WTF ?
