I could get some beta ss's if you want ;) Still need to sort this problem with compiling the map, which it doesn't seem to want to do. Also I haven't had much time to work on it recently. Will get ss's on here soon ;)

peds how far away is a strafe jump

im just gonna make a simple map for clan members to practise jumping on and i dont know how far apart they have to be for it to be a strafe jump

and yes if its any good i'll share it

Don't show screenies Peds, it's better that we don't see screenies yet otherwise it's no surprise anymore on how the map looks.

Hmm... theres 2 choices:

1. I don't show anyone (other than a tester) what the map looks like, and release it with everything looking as a total surprise.
2. I show people how the map is going so they can see what it looks like, but when I come to releasing it they will have seen most of it.

I think I'll probably go with number 1, as it would be nice to suddenly surprise everyone when I release the map (which in cause you're wondering will be a pretty long time!) and see people's comments on the map from not having seen any of it before.

OK I sorted the problem I was having with it, but now I've got an even more annoying problem that looks quite serious:

It happens as soon as I start loading the map. Gonna have to have a look on google to see if I can find a solution to this problem. Anyone who has any ideas on how to fix it please let me know ;)

Talking about maps, the ''fall to death'' map doesn't work Peds.

It doesn't show up in my map list :(

Maybe he hasn't got an ARENA file? Just load console and type '/map tribute'

a strafe jump is about 192 units on a perfect level...

however i think destiny can jump about 200units..

best bet is to try diffrent units and note the possability..


125fps jumps are about 40 or so units

again experement
