Saw it on the shelves, was tempted.
But got Fallout 3 instead. :P

I'll take that as no one. It is a seriously fun game, the most free world game I've ever played (that includes Far Cry 2). Obviously, it is a racing game, but if you're into it check it out. It's a great casual game, but if you get addicted it can be pretty hardcore too. As long as you have a very good sense of direction it is pretty much never even frustrating.

Sounds good, I might get it if it's on xbox. I can't play racing games on the pc to save my life.

Original Midnight Club Racing = Most Free-Roam racing ever.

orly?

in BP there is a race you can start at every intersection, you do it all in whatever order you want, unlock the cars you want, find all the secret areas and beat all the extras you want whenever you want. I honestly don't see how a game could be more free world. The online mode is also based around doing whatever the hell you want with whoever you want in the world they made.

NFS = Free Roam...
but it isnt a good game.

Midnight Club Racing paved the way to the success of all free roam racers.

GTA has turned into shit. Terrible PC optimization and too many random minigames and other boring crap.

all the driving guys around, getting a job crap. They've spent too much time making it 'realistic' and not enough time making it fun. Plus the fact that they can't care enough to give a decent port drops them down to the level of terrible game designers in my book.

There's a reason why there's a taxi + the skip function on a taxi + you don't need to get a "job" really. I've had great fun on all GTA games that i've played (GTA 3, GTA:SA, GTA:VC, and, GTAIV)
