Entity Problem / Compile

Ok I have put some xmodels in my map... then when I compile my map to test it none of the xmodels show up... :( :?

If I select say the tank and press n: (for entity window to pop up)
I have "ORIENT_LOD" ticked...
Well before I didnt have anything ticked and I tried compiling and playing but none of the entities showed up... so I ticked ORIENT_LOD on all my entities and tried again but they still never showed up...
I could tick "NO_SHADOW" but I think that means no shadow? :? lol...

I put each entity in by doing right click in 2D view > Then selecting the xmodel I want... :|

Any help is greatly appreciated :D Thanks

Have you extracted the correct files from pak5.pk3

Another way of adding models is using the "load" under file. Go to collmaps and choose your model (this can only be done after extracting pak5.pk3).

Some other things (probably not going to cause the problem though)
1. Have you given your map worldspawn settings?
Skybox and Worldspawn Simplified
Worldspawn settings program (v. useful)

2. "421 vertices couldn't be merged because the textures point different ways"
You must be using either Terrain or patches. You may have given you terrain to 'pointed' edges. Try and use a smaller brush to smooth out the terrain.
Making a trench - contains terrain editing

3. Remove all unneeded pk3's from your cod directory when compiling. Some pk3's can cause compilation errors (recommended to run a "clean" compile).

OMG! Thanks alot Drofder2004! I think you solved my problem... I had not extracted pak5.pk3 as I thought you didnt need to lol...

Ill add you to the Readme / Loading screen :P
