Great strategy game

Post by Coontang » June 6th, 2008, 4:22 pm

Hey guys, I got 'dracula - origin' the other day, just completed it yesterday, its a really great game. challenging puzzles, an easy help system (spacebar) and a good logic to it too. Takes a good....13/14 hours at least to complete if you play it through properly. It has a good range of places to visit including egypt and transylvania.

The big thing i liked about it is that my dad had intergrated graphics (a very bad one that came with his processor) and because the backgrounds aren't real time rendered loading is extremely fast and it works on even the worst of systems quite well. They still look real, and are hella nice!

I suggest picking it up sometime and having a go!

Looks very nice, never heard of it.
I'm not a big fan of mystery games though, so I think I will pass.

Wait, a strategy game??? Age of empires, Civilization, C&C series, those are strategies. That, my friend, is an ADVENTURE game! Oh, and I'm not a big fan of the 3d look of the modern adventure games(with the sole exception of Sam&Max), I suggest you check out the classic 2d adventure games like Monkey Island, King's Quest, Indiana Jones(not the bullshit action games, the adventure ones), Simon the Sorcerer etc. etc. Sometimes graphics aren't everything and you can have a lot of fun with the old classics. Plus, they're cheap and the pixel art is just amazing...
