codjumper UO members

Post by mrd » August 13th, 2006, 5:10 am

i noticed that are only a few or none codjumper UO team members.
that is kinda sad since the game is still played a lot. and there are
new jumps discovered everyday, but nobody just updates them...

I believe most of the CoDJumper team have UO, it's just that we either play CoD or CoD2. I personally don't play UO anymore as my computer is unbareably slow, so it's normally:

Shit PC = CoD
Good PC = CoD2

And then the in-betweens play both CoD and UO (possibly CoD2 if they're feeling lucky).

tbh, why the hell are u even considering a coduo team, it just not right

CoD:UO = People cheating themselves into thinking they can jump..

I actually enjoy UO jumping, it you could perform some really crazy long distance jumps :P

But atm, I currently dont have the game (mate still has it, cba to get it back)
and secondly, I don't care for the game much anymore :(

im not saying its not enjoyable, just not ... right (in my eyes)..?

look at it this way..:-

1)-CoD & CoD2- A guy escapes from a gang of thugs, and jumps a gap between two buildings... (hes amazed that he jump so far, and proud he is improving in his physical cababilitys, and takes up parkour as a hobbie)

2)-CoD:UO- A fat guy waddles along the roof tops, insearch for a burger, that got stolen by a seagull, then sees it on the roof over a large gap... he takes out his jetpack and drifts slowly across the same gap as the other guy... (he thinks nothing of it, and eats his burger, not really getting anything out of it)

Hmmm, yes thats a long way of showing wat i mean, but oh well

Yep, but thats it, there ARE bigger gaps in UO. Yes doing the same jumps from CoD and CoD2 are boring, but when you jump the larger gaps (such as that church) its a lot more fun.

Deleted double post. Yes, I liked you stories ;) As Drofder says, there is enjoyment in UO jumping other than just being able to use sprint on jumps on 'hard' jumps on CoD maps. The Arnhem one from the rooftop to the bridge being one good example.
