can you make animated gifs with photoshop? i was jw and if u can wanna explain? :D

not in photoshop itself, but use a animation program like macromedia fireworks or imageready

yes, photoshop cs comes with imageready, and fireworks works too, but imageready is easier to use if you are familiar with the layout of photoshop.

i have cs2 :lol: and it came with imageready, but no "fireworks"

Hi m8 ,i work less 3 Years whis Jask paintshop, in the version 9 is an realy nice animator in,easy and whis many extras,it work fine ,maybee u check this

very nice, i like animation but unfortunately i oftentimes make sigs like my current one (with lots of transparency stuff), and it makes it look bad with the .gif format

yes .gif seems to blur the whole image and reduce quality...but its the only animation format i know?

Fireworks is created by Macromedia, so it doesn't come with Photoshop.

I've used Imageready in the past, it's relatively easy to use.

yes, but macromedia has been bought/joined/something of the sort with adobe, so we may be seeing some intermixing of products in future versions.
