In my opinion all of the maps were very good. Looking back, I think I should have spent more time on my map to stand a chance of competing with the others

jm_castle got my vote as it is a very nice map (in fact they all were), in the end it was between that and groms_skatepark.

Congratulations to all who competed in the competition, you all did very well indeed.

I thought there might be a few more map entries, but 5 maps is a pretty good turn out i think

I tried them all and I liked groms map most i think coz of the nice theme and it looks great, could perhaps of done with a bit more variation in the jumps and be a bit more challenging, but apart from that its a good map imo.

I'm not sure about marshalls map coz it appears that you can't finish it without cheats? well i'll rate that map when that's been confirmed

Peds map is quite short, but I know he didn't spend much time on his

still i thought it was a nice map, with good jump sizes.

I thought Lisa did a great job for her 2nd map, and not been mapping long at all, hope to see more from you soon

Ok... opinions....

Alien Attack:
Pissed me off trying to devmap it

It wasnt a bad map except for the major bugs. Also, I despise mazes and invisble hurt tiggers.

Groms Skatepark:
Amazing in every way tbh. Great theme and some great mapping.

Castle:
Great mapping and nice design, good theme, but very hard

(for me at least)
[And that damn fan jump, fucking gets me dizzy

]

Peds_Xmas:
Very short and pretty weird design (hard jumps followed by extremely easy jumps :S)

Wacked:
Some good features but quite a few bads points (hard to find exact direction and a lot of bad mapping and 'fighting textures')

So... Grom gets my vote with Luke in close second. Well done (Looking forward to some ports of these maps to CoD2 when the tools are released).

thx...i dont like easy maps, so i try to make it a bit hard

probably didn't do myself any favours making it that hard, when the majority of players on the jump servers will find it too hard

but its not nearly as hard as jm_motion(i think)

you're the first to actually complain about the fans

which is surprising coz everytime i've watched someone trying it, they have struggled

maybe i'm the only one that likes them lol

I suffer from dizziness from simply turning 360 degrees

tbh, I can't actually jump in CoD anymore, its completely different from CoD2 for me.
