Compiling Problems

Hello, I have a few problems with the level compiling process of mapping, whenever I compile my bsp then build an fast file and finally run the selected map I can see that the ai have no pathnodes connected though I have them clearly correctly distanced and placed from each other, from what I concluded it is an compiling problem, is there any fixes for this? I have connect paths, compile lighting, and compile bsp on. Any help would be much appreciated.
