Computer Question

Post by rufas1 » September 1st, 2013, 12:44 am

I have a laptop and it's approximately 2 years old. And it's obvious that I can't get to +250 FPS. If I were to get a new computer, my dad would make me get another laptop, not a desktop. For a laptop that could get up to 333 FPS, how much would it probably cost?

Tell your dad, a desktop has more cost-to-benefit ratio than any laptop. If you already own a laptop, what is the point of "replacing" a laptop. Older laptops capable of gaming will generally be better than the majority of basic level laptops on the market. Unless you have a specific requirement for gaming on the move - a gaming laptop is a pointless expenditure.

Gaming Laptops ~ £800-900
Equivalent PC ~£700-800

Laptop upgrading = limited
PC upgrading = nearly unlimited

If he refuses to listen to money advice, then surely money is irrelevant and you should got maximum high-end.
