Ah yes, i fixed that about 2 days ago along with a few other errors, ill send you the newer copy.. and if its okay with you the .map also i trust that you wouldn't do anything with it lol :P that way u can have a closer look at what might be causing it. thanks again btw, sent in pm.

*bracing self for wave of criticism* yeah give it all to me lol.. maybe in PM though :P, and oo i heard you had a map upcoming mp_ghost_something cant wait :)

also something iv found, i went for a fly around just than attempting to crash it lol, it didn't crash until i stopped no clipping and than went for another fly though some sky box's (it crashed after that) :P, idk really what triggers it besides though any brush just trying to narrow it down lol

Just thought i would post a reply encase anybody else has the same problem in the future, the fix is actually to put a brush inside and out of a skybox, don't ask me why but iv tested it multiple times without failing, stumbled on the fix by mistake lol.

Also thanks drof for all the help :)

I don't like the sound of that 'fix' at all, you may experience leaks.

The problem is more like to do with the way your skyboxes are created (not a single giant square).

Yeah i wasnt too keen with the fix lol but somehow stopped it crashing with no errors so i was pretty happy.. it may still crash int he future i have just had no luck on fixing it over a good 6 months

My issue with the 'fix' also lies in the fact that I could not replicate the problem. No matter what I did the game would not crash.

That log is incomplete and only shows the bottom half of the compile.

The errors you are receiving are not crucial but can be fixed by correctly aligning them on the grid. You can place a decal texture on to a surface without getting a z-fighting textures, so there is no reason to move them marginally away from the surface. If the decals are snapped to grid and you still receive this error, just leave it be.

If you could post the first half of the error, just in case of any other compile issues.

The game has crashed again, the fix didnt sound right to me either lol, i am completely stumped on what it might be. 100% no clue, the map is pretty much complete i cant release it with this bug though

I cannot get the map to crash, so I have no idea what your problem may be.
If you can get it to crash on a dedicated server, then I suggest running the server with dev mode on and grabbing the logs.

Without me being able to replicate the crash, I cannot help.

How many people have tested the map and produced the error locally (non-dedi server)?
(And how many people have not?)
Have you tried both Windows and Linux servers?

About 10 people have tested the map on my server (27.50.71.179:28931) and all have crashed at one point.. all from the same problems, i have only tested on windows.. but i am the only one who has tested on my local computer with the crash. ill upload to my server tonight get somebody to crash it and ill send over the error logs.

Also one other thing, if this helps. Its crashed when I'm spectating somebody (if it crashes for them) it crashes mine as well. but everybody else is fine only who is spectating and the player.

Also this is a bit off the subject but using EffectED program how do i slow down lightning speed, or the intervals? i am using fx,weather/lightning_mp_farm also still cannot get rid of the error of cannot find sound alias but its not a massive issue.
