CoD 1.5 Maps in CoD 1.1 Maps

Hey Guys ... i have copied the cod 1.5 maps mp_tigertown mp_bocage mp_neuville mp_stalingrad in cod 1.1 maps!
(only the 4 MAPS were copied)
but i have to type in console /map mp_stalingrad or the other map names... they don't listed on the map list if u wanna start a server... First ERROR
then i can start the map and play.. but nobody can't find me ( LAN ) <- SERVER WON'T SHOWED.. SECOND ERROR

i have made some screenshots... you need winRAR to opend it!!!

the screenshots show some TEXTURE ERRORS and a big problem!!!
In S&D you can't plant the bomb really.. sometimes u could but the bomb won't explode!!!
You can't defuse the bomb... ( watch mp_stalingrad screenshots )

Could somebody maybe help me to repair this shit!?... that the maps could be played in Call of Duty 1.1???

I opened the pk3's and packed it again...

You can find all these maps in 1.1 working format (except for bocage) at my 1.1 clan's site: http://wy6.uk.to/downloads.php.

They are inside the custom map pack file, it's a fairly large download but you should be able to simply rip out the appropriate files for those maps from the pack.

As for the texture errors there WILL be texture errors unless you copy over the appropriate 1.5 textures into a .pk3 for 1.1. 1.1 is missing some textures that were added in patches. (Note that we did not copy these textures over and they appear as a blank gray texture on the maps.)

As far as I know the SD is working in these converted maps.

For you last problem of people not being able to find you it could be that your router has the ports blocked for CoD1 hosting. If you are simply hosting this as a LAN party for friends on your network (you specified LAN) then idk what the problem with that is. But if you are trying to host a public server open to everyone you NEED to have the appropriate ports unblocked (28960 at least) and switch the server dedicated option to no instead of LAN.

ok but .. i will work on it... cause the most maps are stupid and LOW...!

very baaaaaaaaaaaaaad map pack^^

i'll make a cod 1.1 league... but with more maps!!!
for example like tigertown and neuville and stalingrad... but not so no name maps xD

maybe nuenen and germantown and bellicourt... or stanjel ... u know?

maybe there will be more maps!!!

If someone know where i can get cod 1.1 - cod 1.5 maps... pls tell me!!!

with hq.txt isnt a problem i could delete hq.gsc ... than the error is repaired... but what menas script compile error shit???

getGUID I believe was a function introduced after 1.1 (PB Patch?).

Somewhere in the HQ code, the function "getGUID" is being called, but because you are trying to use it in a patch where it does not yet exist, it crashes.

the problem is exactly what drofder has stated. just delete any instances of getGUID you find and any appropriate code that goes along with it.

Which will cause error after error. If you are not going to use HQ.gsc just remove all the contents INSIDE of the functions (do not remove the functions).

Thanks... but now i have a new ERROR... if i play s&d.. i can't plant the bomb every time... and defuse too ... and the clock won't showed....

what this? Missed files???

don't know the names of this files...

So i deleted all getguid shit...

but now the sd.gsc has warnings and errors... ^^

i can't play s&d with the showed clock... if the bomb is planted... i don't see any clock where showed the time till the bomb is explodes

i want create a mappack... which u could play in cod 1.1

i thinks thats all
now the maps are free from bugs like.. texture errors or so..

but if i play s&d i have problem with planting and defusing... not only on this costummaps... in carentan or dawnville i have it too!!!

i tried to play this with CoDaM... i want play this with CoDaM ^^
maybe somebody could help me???
